Really fun house. The heated pool & bocci ball kept us entertained for hours. Close walk to beach. Has all you need to take to the beach- toys, chairs, towels, wagon etc. kitchen was great., everything you need. Decor was cool and eclectic. Sun porch was nice for the warm breezy evenings.
The staff was very friendly and communicative when we had an issue with the pool not heating. Place was spotless and cute! Had to use the standing fans to keep it cool at night since it’s an older home, but we would still stay here again! Close to restaurants and the beach. I recommend Tides Bar & Grill across the street for beach days!
Enjoyed our stay. Top notch place. Felt like home. We were able to walk to the beach every day and if the beach was crowded or too windy, staying at the house with the pool was a great alternative. The house is groomed to the max, good neighborhood and everything we needed was available.
Very eclectic home with a great pool area. We also really enjoyed the living area options as well.
For anyone staying in cooler months, make sure you request the pool heater to be turned on prior to your stay.
Stayed at this Jacksonville Beach home and it delivered exactly what we wanted: walkable beach days, great food nearby, and a backyard setup that felt like a private resort.
The design is the first thing you notice—in the best way. It’s unique, playful, and confidently done, with animal-themed décor and bold colors that somehow still feel cohesive and relaxing. Every room has personality, and it made the whole trip feel more “special” than a typical rental.
The backyard is the real star. The heated pool was excellent (comfortable even in cooler evenings), and the space is set up for a group to actually hang out.
Chairs and other beach equipment was handy!
Location-wise, easy access to restaurants, shops, and the general beach-town vibe. We walked out for meals and coffee, then came back to a home that felt like its own destination.

El servicio no puede ser mejor, atienden al instante cualquier requerimiento. Sacan la basura, limpian la piscina, atención inmediata ante cualquier problema con personal de altísima calidad.
Contraté servicio de limpieza y no pudo ser mejor, serios, confiables y la casa recobraba su esplendor.
We had never played bocci ball court style before this past weekend and had an absolute blast in competitive play! Everyone and especially the kids enjoyed swimming in the heated pool while the adults hung out and enjoyed the good eats in and around the very spacious patio table while watching the game on the large outdoor tv. The decor inside made you feel like you were in another country far away besides the 5 blocks to Jax beach just steps away. We enjoyed walking to check out the sunsets and playing in the waves. We would definitely recommend Surf Mod to friends and family again and use Welcome Home Rentals as our go to for any Jax Beach stays in the future!
We really enjoyed our stay in Jax at this unique home. The location is great- walkable to the beach, restaurants and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the owner/mgt company was super-responsive to us during our visit. Quiet neighborhood - nice place to relax.
Eclectic and interesting house, the pool and bocce ball area were great. We celebrated my granddaughter’s first birthday and she loved the pool.
We stayed a week at the rental and had a blast. Spent a ton of time in the pool and enjoying local restaurants. Very enjoyable stay.
